1) Download MuseScore 3.3.3.24345.
2) Create a New Score
3) Highlight any measure
4) Press "N" on the keyboard.

From previous MuseScore 3 updates, I was able to switch from note input to selection using the keyboard shortcut "N." However, I am now not able to do this. You can, however, go to "Add" on the menu above, and select "Notes" and then "Note Input" to switch but the process is very time-consuming and I have not found another way to compensate for the keyboard shortcut. Is there a change in shortcuts that I am not aware of? If there isn't, then is there a way that I can add the shortcut back or perhaps download the previous updates?

Thanks,
Darren.

My guess is there is no N on your toolbar but rather a dot with some sort of brackets around it. Click the triangle next to this icon and select the one with an N next to it. You will see the shortcut you pressed to select the other note input mode that doesn't work,or at least doesn't work the way you want it to.

Sorry, I meant "Add" on the Mac OS's toolbar. I realized this isn't much of a bug, just a change. Rather than selecting note input and entering the notes into the measure, it automatically enters note input mode when you input a note. To get out of it, you just press escape. Whoops.

You can still press N to enter note input mode. When you use the Add->Notes menu item does it still say the shortcut is N?
