Any Staff Alternative Option?
I don't know if this is a current feature, but it would be great to have the equivalent of Logic's track alternative's except with staves. If you compose out an idea but then want to try something else in its place to see if you like it better is there any option to hide the current stave and replace with blank one and toggle back and forth between the two? If not that would be an AWESOME feature that would definitely help with composing

Add an extra staff using Edit → Instruments?
If you intend to make the call by looking at the score, then indeed, Edit / Instruments does the job of togglng visiblity. Somehow my guess is you'd rather listen to make the call, though, in which case you want View / Mixer.
