Musescore (2) pops up after clicking off the window

If I click away onto chrome or another program, after 5-20 seconds the Musescore window will pop up. Also the icon on the taskbar will sometimes flash orange like something has changed. Just a bit annoying how often it happens.

Is this about MuseScore 2? If so, can you reproduce using the latest version, 3.3.4?
This could be due to autosave, so every 2 minutes by default

Ya Musescore 2. I dont like the look/feel of 3. Trying to load it now, Musescore 3 is crashing immediately. Weird...

I'll turn it off and see if it works. I suppose I dont really need an autosave if the session can be restored in case a crash. I ctrl-s all the time anyways

MuseScore 3 doesn't have a more impressive look than MuseScore 2, but its functionality is way better.
I'll give 3 another go. Seems turning off auto save solved my issue. Thankya
