First ending over a page turn
I have a piece that needs a two measure first ending, and of course it's one measure right at the end of one page, and the second measure at the top of the next! How do I indicate this?

Via a Volta thar spans those measures
Which you do by double-clicking the volta and using Shift+right to extend it (not dragging). Or, just add the volta that way to begin with - select the two bars, then (double)-click the palette icon to add the volta.
But - I would also strongly advise you consider altering your layout to not have a page turn in the middle of the first ending! Really, you should try to avoid a page turn anywhere within a repeated section unless you are absolutely positive they will always be viewed as two facing pages (and that no one will ever, for instance, try playing from a tablet). So, reduce stretch or do whatever you need to do on the previous page(s) to avoid this situation. Your players will thank you!
