Drum Editor in new update (3.4.1.25011) MacOS 10.14.6

Select a drum and the wrong one shows up

1. Go into the 3rd measure and hi-lite the rest.
2. Go into note input mode
3. Select "crash cymbal" - the program makes a crash cymbal sound but displays the note for low-mid tom (or maybe something different - generally, it's the note two positions to the left in the list but not always).
4. Clicking after that produces crash cymbal correctly.
