OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.4.1.9660, revision: 20414b2

Applies to all MS 3 versions.

  1. Open the attached MS file and add a space character to the first note in measure 2 (using Ctrl + space). Then exit.
Result: You cannot select the space by clicking on it directly, but it is still there, and can be accessed from an adjacent syllable in lyric edit mode.
  2. Select a lyric syllable and use it to set a frame, then press "Set as style".
Result: The invisible space is revealed and can now be deleted directly.
  3. Undo the frame from the style, and apply an underline instead, then "set as style".
Result: Unexpectedly, the underline is not applied to the space, so it remains invisible.

Suggestion: Ensure that spaces within lyric syllable have the same properties as other characters.
