Beam handles hidden behind beam at high zoom levels

At this zoom level, the three beam handles are visible, selectable and usable:

But zoom in closer and they get hidden behind the beam and cannot be selected and used:

Perhaps position the handles to always sit on the outer edges of a beam?

I've reproduced this with MuseScore 3.4.1 64-bit under Windows 10.

I see two problems here:

  1. The right grip is incorrectly positioned. The left grip is positioned off-center relative to its note stem (a little to the left); presumably this is intended so that it sticks out a little more. However, the right beam is positioned the exact same way relative to its note stem: a little to the left (by exactly the same amount, too). It should be positioned a little to the right instead.
  2. The grips should drawn last (highest in the Z order), but they're drawn under the beam.
