add "fingesnip" notation into a vocal part
Hi all, I use Musescore for making vocal adaptations for my Pop/Jazz sextet. I can't figure out how to add a body-percussion line into a vocal staff... I want to have our tenor singing his line and add finger-snaps on the 2 and 4 for a short passage, and therefore I want to have this fingersnaps notated on his own staff, instead of having to add an entire drum staff. Can this be done? And how? Thanks for helping me out!
I have a second question, about multiple times switching between "swing" and "straight eights" in this arrangement, see my next post.

(See the attached arrangement of Love Is All [Roger Glover], in this arrangement I want finger snaps form m83 until the end)

You could add quarter notes and rests in s 2nd voicer for tenor and marks them silent and use an X shape notehead. Or add a single line 'fingersnip' instrument, add the snips and use 'Hide empty staves'
Reg. returning to Straight see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/swing#swing-off, but also #301103: 'Straight' text does not work, since all options in the "Swing settings" tab are unchecked
BTW: I don't see another post from you?
