Musescore spontaneously crashing

Musescore has been crashing at random several times per hour this afternoon, and recently it crashed and then said that the score I was working on was corrupted. After restarting Musescore, I found that all of my work I did in the afternoon was gone and I was left with what I had started out with. Is anybody else having this issue, and does anybody know how to maybe fix this?

This is a major issue, so any type of response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
