Patches list in txt or any other format
Hi. I think Musescore is an unbelievable piece of software. Thanks for all the hard work.
Question: is there downloadable list of all patches available in the mixer? a txt or doc file would be great (for me)
Thanks

The list of available sounds depends on what soundfont(s) you currently have loaded. The default soundfont conforms to the General MIDI standard, as do many of the popular alternatives. Here's info on that standard: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_MIDI, including a list of the sounds it defines.

Thank so much for your response, but I've checked the wiki page you suggested and there seems to be a big difference between that list and the patch list in the mixer. Take for example Italian accordion, just to name one, not present in the MIDI sounds list. I am using the default Musescore 3.1 default soundfont. What I am looking for is a list of all the patches available in the mixer. Thanks

There is no Italian Accordion in a GM soundfont. There is one in a 2nd back of MuseScore's default soundfont though. A full list is in the attached

Exactly what I was looking for. Many thanks

Shouldn't be a "big" difference, there are really only a handful of additional sounds, and some of those are just minor tweaks on the standard sounds. Also, be aware that anything you find in the default soundfont that is not in the General MIDI standard probably won't be available in other soundfonts, so as you start to want to look further into the playback possibilities, you'll need to be careful about that. But anyhow, glad you got the full list!
