Create tuplets using "Add -> Tuplets" can create notes showing the wrong value. In this attached file a fifteen-note tuplet occupying the space of a half note should show the stem/flag of 32nd notes, yet the actual notes are shown to be the same as quarter notes.

That's because you entered a ratio of 15:2 - meaning, fifteen notes in the time normally taken by two. The tuplet covers two beats, and there are two quarters in two beats, hence, you get quarters. There are sixteen 32nds in two beats, so you'd need a ration of 15:16 to get 32nds.
