I cannot type in words with accent marks on any type of text. Title, subtitle, lyrics, etc.
I speak Portuguese and there are a lot of words like: pão, céu, alívio, à, é, ô.
I used to be able to simply type those words using key combinations, the most logical way to do it. However, upon installing the Snap version of MuseScore 3.4.2, I have been unable to type these words unless I press F2 and select a special character (which is a major issue as I have to use a lot of these characters).

Before this issue started I was using the AppImage version of MS 3.4.2 and I did not have this issue. It began after installing MS 3.4.2 from the Snap Store on Ubuntu 18.04. My personal workaround was typing the text in another software and copy-pasting it. But that doesn't work for lyrics and it's too much trouble for an issue that didn't happen before.

I found similar issues online, but many seemed to put the blame on the AppImage, which is not really my case and I also didn't find any solutions.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Report to the snap maintainer then. If AppImage works, it got to be a problem in snap, which we here can't do anyrhing about
