Missing top-line tools like File, Edit, View, etc. I can see them briefly but nothing happens when clicked on in my Ubuntu 14.04 version of MuseScore.
Why are the tools for MuseScore missing on Ubuntu 14.04? I have the manual which gives great directions for the use of the tools( but they work on my Windows laptop but not on my Unbuntu laptop.

Revert to factory settings to get them back
I have heard some Ubuntu installations have moved the menu bar somewhere else, not really sure how that works. But it seems to be a general design decision with one particular window manager, not sure which. Something to make browse around for more info on.
