this is very interesting, I am using the latest prerelease for windows on windows 7, version 2168, and, I just finished a score and moved it to an other folder and tried to start it, and this error shows each time I try to open the file.
However, if I start MuseScore on its own and select open file and point to the same score, it opens it just fine..........
This also happens with scores written with previous versions.........
also, what is the mscz, file for? could this be happening because I deleted that file when I moved the score file?
But even so, if I open the score the other way, and edit something, an other mscz, file gets created, and, even though if I don't delete it and try to open the score again by clicking on it, I get the same error.....................

Help!

The .mscz, just contains a backup of the previously saved version of your file. As you figured out it is unrelated to this problem.

We asked several questions the first time you posted this problem. Could you respond to those questions please. Does Lasconics version of the file open okay? http://www.musescore.org/en/node/3032

sorry, I wasnt subscribed to that thread for some reason, and didnt receive the responses.......... or something is wrong with my yahoo mail.... just a moment here while I reply
