Teaching materials on MuseScore.
You could inform me if the attached images and graphic resources are possible to be done in MueseScore.
These were developed in Sibelius.
Much obliged!

You can attach images to scores, bitmap (png, jpg) and vector (svg), see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/images
For bitmap better use png and have them being transparent (AFAIK jpg can't be transparent?), but best use svg, as those scale to any size without artifacts

Hello good day!
Yes, the procedures are well explained in the Manual.
But the arrows and the circles on the notes?
How to do it on MuseScore?

You'd need to create those arrows and circles outside MuseScore, like with Inkscape, and then add those as images to the score

Ok dear Jojo!
Simplifying my question and answer, I understand that this "no" is possible in MuaseScore. So, for certain teaching materials, I must still use Sibelius, unfortunately!

No, this is possible. You just need to create these extra graphics yourself outside of MuseScore, or find them elsewhere, then insert them into MuseScore. You can even add them to a (custom) palette then for further use

I am very happy dear Jojo!
I very much appreciate your teaching. I followed his instructions and managed to do the work at the Musescore (attached file).
Could the background of the score be equal inside the circle?

Don't understand the question reg. backgound? That is transparent (like it should and need to be here)
Still better results would be achieved with SVGs

I don't understand the question about the background, either. But FWIW, circles at least you can create within MuseScore, just add a staff text (just enter a single letter for now), then use the Inspector to add a frame, set it round, increase the margin, etc. Then replace the single letter with a space (I don't do this to begin with so I can be sure I can see my text while working with it).
You can also find a lot of different ready-made symbols like arrows and circles if you create a text then press F2 to view the Special Characters palette, then click the Unicode tab.
You can also add the images, symbols, or the text-based circle to a custom palette, just Ctlr+Alt+drag it there. Although I know there are some bugs with adding images to the palette, not really sure what the current story is.

Good morning (in Brazil) Marc!
Where is the educational extension "musiced.muxt" installed or attached to the computer or MuseScore 3?
Could you guide me through the process?
There is a way to download all your didactic files at once:
My own set of theory handouts: https://musescore.com/user/2975/sets/5099981?
If so, could you please teach me ...
Thank you!

Drag the file into MuseScore.

For the extension you have to download the file then drag it to MuseScore as explained in the instructions at the top of the page.
For more access to the theory handouts, just check out the online course by following the link in the descriptions.

Olá Marc!
I have immense respect for you! Your knowledge is explored...
As you know I am from Brazil and the fact of having access to the full course of MuseScore, I am not able to because it is English and I do not master this language, but the musical in full!
So, it doesn't make sense for me to acquire your course, since I don't speak English right?
Due to the lack in Brazil, in this sense, I have now launched the MuseScore 3 Video Course on the Udemy platform.
https://www.udemy.com/course/musica-no-computador-com-o-musescore-3/
I understand that nothing in this world is free! There is a job to make sure the information is right and that everyone understands.
I am a professor at a convervatory and I would love to represent you here in Brazil.

Sorry but I don't have access to this;
Models The Music Education extension includes several templates grouped in the Education header:
1. Big Note - a large print sheet with the names of the notes activated in the headers. To disable or customize the names of the notes, right click on the team, Team properties, Advanced style properties, select the desired notebook layout.
2. Flash Card - half a sheet of paper with a giant title and space for a single short measurement. By default, this has note names enabled; they can be disabled as described above.
3. SSA + Piano - model for a typical primary school choir.
4. Brochure - suitable for teaching materials, includes an annotation text style and some other customizations.
5. Worksheet - suitable for homework, tests etc., includes a space for the student and the name of the course at the top and makes some other additional personalizations.
I'm just a professional with a desire to grow and teach quality to everyone !!
Strong hug!

Congratulations on your Udemy course! I am very much enjoying the process of producing these.
Probably my theory course won't be of that much value to you given the language, but for now I am providing a free option, so you don't need to pay anything to enroll.
I am not understanding if you still have a question about how to install the extension p the instructions are right there at the top of the page I linked: "To use this extension, download the file below to your computer and use drag & drop from your file browser to MuseScore. It will install automatically. You may find this automatically switches you to one of the new workspaces, which you might not want, but you can switch workspaces at any time using the control at the bottom of the palettes window at left."

Hi Marc, thank you. Your Music Education extension is cool! Another hidden gem adding to my appreciation of what MuseScore can do. Looking forward to finding even more cool things as I get to know it more. One thing though - I don't get what the Function Theory palette is for.... :

This is the "Riemann" style notation. I've never really learned that system either, nor do I know much about "Schenker" analysis, but I'm aware of them both and can recognize some of their symbols.

I have come across another pedagogic notation for structural analysis. I wonder if it is in common use and if so, whether there are resources available that would allow its use in Musescore. The examples are scanned from "The Shaping of Musical Elements" by Armand Russell and Allen Trubitt published by Shirmer.

I guess the thing to do is create some .png versions and make my own pallet. Need to swot up on that.

Or better SVG
Or, if the end result is graphic of a score, you could open a png. of the score in a image editor (like Paint on Windows) and add circles and connecting lines.

An "arrow" "Line" type would not be a bad addition.
