Apply changes in the Staff/Part Properties automatically when using the "Go to next/previous staff" arrows

In the Staff/Part Properties dialog there are arrows to go to the next/previous staff. One would expect that all the changes made within the dialog would be saved when OK is clicked at the end of the editing session, but any changes that are made to any of the staves are lost when moving to the next/previous. One has to click Apply for each staff. OK/Apply should apply all changes, not just for the current staff.
