If you're talking about thw notenes plugin this is by design or rather a restricion ot the plugins api.
Workaround 1: Rerun the plugin
Workaround 2: Using notehead schema doesn't have that restricion
Thanks a lot for your quick response. Yes, Rerun does work. But I had modified Note names plugin for using Indian notes, which Musescore does note have so far. If Notehead is used in place of Note names then I need to stick to the given schema. If there is any option to add one more scheme bearing Indian notes (Sa Re Ga...) similar to Movable Do... It will solve my both purposes and also add a new feature in Musescore. Edit: image added
As of MuseScore 3.5 it should be possible to rewrite the plugin in a way that makes it updating the score on the fly.
Feel free to submitt an issue for that, as a Suggestion
You might also file another suggestion for indian notenames in the notehead schemas, but that is rather unlikely to happen, as there are no such glyphs in SMuFL, which is what were using for the current existing schemas, so a corresponding request against SMuFL would be needed (https://github.com/w3c/smufl/issues)
