Steps to reproduce
1. Start MuseScore
2. Choose "Create New Score" from Start Center dialog
3. Follow steps in New Score Wizard and as below:
- Woodwings > Alto Saxophone
- Key Signature = ####

Expected:
New note with key signature ####

Observed:
New note with key signature #######

So I deleted key signature and put new key signature from Palettes > Key Signatures, and got this result:

Key Signature After drop
from Palettes in the score

Alto Sax is a transposing instrument
Check the Concert Pitch button to see the difference in key signatures, and also the transpositioning at the bottom of the Staff/Instrument properties dialog
