Words in bold and italic in lyrics look usual if copied and pasted in a WORD document
I have some test scores with lyrics and part of them were in italic, just for test. If use "Copy Lyrics to clipboard" and paste them in a WORD document, words in italic or bold will not appear like that.
Soon I will be publish a songtext about math and it would be very important if this worked. Mathematical variables, part of this song too, appear in italic and this is really a bug.

Indeed, not a bug, it was never intended to work that way. A reasonable suggestion for future enhancement though, feel free to post it to the issue tracker. Meanwhile, though, it's probably a better idea to use the image capture tool to get the formatting as desired.
