Make one section swing with the Swing text; that works. Make the next section straight with the Straight text; it still swings (or is straight not the opposite of swing?). See measure 18 of The Metalic Puzzle. The_Metalic_Puzzle.mscz I created this second score to confirm that the bug is reproducible. swing to straight bug.mscz

With MS 2 I enter SWING 2 times , but I edit each, for having the swing at 66% for the first, and, for the 2nd to ask "without" or you let swing but asking 50%

This was a bug in the palette, already fixed for 3.5. Meanwhile, for any existing scores, simply right-click any existing "straight" text you have and use System Text Properties to explicitly set the swing to "off". You can even delete the broken "straight" text from your palette and then Ctrl+Shift+drag the fixed on back on.
