Linked staff and tablature for guitar/bass : how to easily enter notes in the score and choose the "correct" fret/string?

Hi,
It seems not so easy to enter notes for guitar/bass.

I have a standard staff (notes) and a linked tablature.

When I enter several notes on the score, Musescore (v3.2.3) always choose the lowest fret in the tab staff.

Is there a way to choose always the same "region" of frets that the previous notes?

Example : if I have a E on the A string at the fret 7, when I strike a "D" on the score, I want Musescore to choose the fret 9 on the same string.

Other way, is there a way to enter the string or the fret of a note when we enter notes within the score (not the tablature staff)?

I already know how to enter notes directly from tablature but I feel that it is more easier to enter notes using a normal staff. For instance, Q and W change directly the lengh of the notes. When you use tablature and the same keys, you have to enter the fret number again for changing the length of the notes.

Not currently. There is some and same requests time by time , but nothing has advanced right now for that. Like for your other thread, I'm not sure there is an official request for that yet.
Currently, the best way indeed is to enter the desired fret directly in the Tab staff (there is the fretboard plugin that can help eventually even it remains a bit buggy)
