  1. Attach a single-note tremolo to any note.
  2. Turn the staff containing the note into a small staff (Right Click --> "Staff/Part Properties" --> Check the "Small Staff" tickbox)
  3. Reduce "Small Staff-Size" ("Style" --> "Sizes" --> "Small Staff Size"). The scaling issue becomes worse as staff size decreases.
