Pallet (F9) not re-appearing even after resetting preferences to default
tl;dr: Detached Pallets window can't be found until mscore launched from Terminal.
OS: macOS 10.15, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.5.0.28537, revision: 43c5553
The detached pallet window seems to disappear randomly (possibly when display is put to sleep though I can't reproduce) and will not re-appear, even after resetting preferences to default, and blowing away ~/Library/Preferences/org.musescore.MuseScore.plist.
Finally, I discovered that if I start MuseScore from the Terminal instead, a tiny window appears, which when resized, is the missing pallet window (see screen shot attachment). When I restore the MuseScore3.plist file to an earlier time (see attachment), and try starting MuseScore the regular way, the pallet window is gone again. I have to open a score, make sure Pallets under View is checked, quit MuseScore, and then from Terminal run /Applications/MuseScore\ 3.app/Contents/MacOS/mscore.

There used to be a plugin (back in v2) that would restore missing windows but I don't see it for version 3. If you had windows I would know how to help you without it, but not on a Mac.
