Cannot update to 3.5 MuseScore

LorenMayhew (https://musescore.com/user/35874677) sent a message: I am completely frustrated. I am trying to update my MuseScore 3.3.4.9134 to the latest level. I cannot find anyway to download the software. I already own MuseScore but there is now way to check for updates. So I paid for it again to download it. Nope. MuseScore cannot send me a message to Biz@Mayhews.us with the instructions to download. That is my correct email address and there is nothing wrong with it. I cannot activate my account for the same reason. HELP.

You are a bit confused about how this works. The program is free and you can download version 3.5 at https://musescore.org/en/download. Be sure to choose your correct operating system. What you paid for is a pro account at musescore.com which gives you some extra perks when you use that account.

Thank you for your reply. I finally did get version 3.5 to download. MuseScore seems to not work correctly at all with Microsoft Edge. I tried Chrome and finally got it downloaded but it took several tries in Chrome before the download was successful. I have high quality and high speed internet so my connection wasn't the problem but MuseScore kept complaining about my connection..

After installing, I was pleased that version 3.5 fixed the problem I was having and also it is more responsive the the older version I had.
