Start Menu crashes Musescore

When I open the Start Menu, MuseScore instantly crashes to desktop. If this is a bug that came with the latest update or if it's a problem with my version, I would like to know so I don't have to boot MuseScore through my scores.

EDIT: I've found the best way around this is to disable the Start Menu on launch. Still, it'd be good to know how to fix it just in case other people run into the same problem as me.

Start menu? You mean the Start Center. This is a known problem that has been quite elusive in showing itself to programmers that can fix it. You discovered the only known fix.
