Musescore Won't Stop Crashing

Ever since the newest Musescore update rolled out, Musescore consistently crashed almost instantly after opening when I start the program by clicking on the icon. I quickly discovered a workaround, however. I learned that I could go into scores ("C:\Users\aidantru\Documents\MuseScore3\Scores") and click on a .mscz file to open Musecore without it crashing. Another method I found out was to right-click on the program icon in my taskbar to view my recent scores and click on one of those. However, I would like to be able to open Musescore normally and not be forced to use some roundabout method to use it.
