Underlining of space characters disappears upon saving

After adding an underline (using Ctrl-U) after the first LH finger (see image), I save the score (attached) and close it. When I reopen the score, the underline has disappeared. I've tried this multiple times and it keeps happening. Marc Sabatella confirms: "Indeed, underline ordinary space characters seem not to survive save/reload."

Right, for ordinary space characters the bug exists, for "hard" space (Ctrl+space) it works.
