Alignment of scores
I don't know what is the right forum for the question I have. Also, I don't know the terminology to use to describe my problem, so excuse me for possibly using wrong words. So my question is very tentative, and might have to be framed very differently. I have written a long score, where some notes and bars may be clustered tight together, while others are excessively spaced, spread out. Is there any general function that aligns all bars with proper width depending on content, such that the scores might be easily readable?

This all happens automatically, as long as you don't use stretch or system- and page breaks
So, if you are seeing otherwise, probably you did add breaks, now you need to delete them. One way if Format / Add/Remove System Breaks. If that doesn't solve it, please attach your score so we can understand and assist better.
