Having selected a 5 stave drum kit for an exercise. I can only add two drum kit elements e.g. bass drum and hi-hat. When trying to add anything else e.g. snare or side stick it just replaces the 2nd added element.

It appears that you can only have a max of 2 elements???????

Hi Mike,

Yes I can choose lots of drums, snares, cymbals etc... the problem is the software is only allowing two to be selected for any beat position. A drummer (e.g.) can hit a bass drum, cymbal and snare at the same time. If I have a bass drum and cymbal (hi-hat) on the same beat and then try to add a snare hit... it just replaces the cymbal beat ?????

To create a "chord" of drum notes, you need a letter assigned to at least one of them. Add one note however you like, then press shift while you press the letter assigned to the other one. So by default it's impossible to have a low tom and low mid tom on the same beat because neither has a letter assigned to them. You would need to add a letter to one of them to be able to have both on the same beat. You can add a high tom to the same beat as any other note in the same voice since there is the letter E assigned to it.
