1) Open Musescore
2) Choose any pitched instrument
3) Set tempo to 120
4) Input basic quaver rhythm with 'Swing' text at beginning
5) Make one of the quavers into two single semiquavers and hear difference when played

You need to right click the Swing text, choose System text properties, in the Swing tab choose to swing semiquavers.
