Symbols in preferences for folders

why is there one pen and the rest are folder symbols?

Try clicking on them.
The folders open the paths, the pen a dialog box.
The soundfont you may have downloaded should be in a folder on your machine (e.g. _ download).

They are all folders, so why the difference?
Folder: Only one, can't be more than one
Pen: List of folders, potentially more than one

I see. I had a list there before but now there is only one folder left but the icon does not revert to the folder icon.

To be clear, it's not about how many folders are currently in the list, but about whether the field supports the ability to add multiple folders via the corresponding dialog.
