Selecting bar 5 of the attached 'Crash.mscz' and then trying to change to time signature to 5/4 via the Palette crashes MuseScore 3.5.1 instantly and reproducibly.
My intention is to change just this bar to 5/4, leaving the next bar at 4/4.
Xubuntu 20.04 LTS, 64 bit.

First of all update to 3.4.2 and test again

Or perhaps to 3.5.2?
What? Yes, of course, brainfart of mine
Original Guitar Pro file (GP6)
Remove the part (recreate it if really necessary? ), it's solved.
Same with MuseScore-3.5.2.312125617-x86_64.AppImage.
Thanks for the workaround cadiz1, it is originally indeed a Guitar Pro .gpx file.
It is thus not blocking me anymore, but still a severe bug.
Please don't change the title. The mention" Guitar Pro" is important (because it's not reproductible with a file entered from scratch with MuseScore)
And it's crash too in 3.5.2 (so, the version is not the problem, currently in any case). The problem is the part.
To understand what happens, the better that you can do now is please to attach the originally .gpx file.
I did not change the title (intentionally), I just wrote my response. Maybe your title change overlapped with my response submission, thus the title was reverted..
The Guitar Pro file is from a copyrighted source (that's why the MuseScore file was shortened), so I cannot make it publicly available. Is there some MuseScore email address to mail it privately to?
