Bug report on new version

I have just upgraded to Version 3.5.2.311459983 revision 465e7b6.

The programme is now malfunctioning in that if I start the program by executing the MuseScore code, it appears to start normally
and then immediately closes.
If I start the programe by clicking on an existing .mscz file, it starts, displays the selected file and then continues to work normally.

I have tried this several times and it reliably fails every timeI start it as an application and so far has neverf failed when started from
a .mscz file.

Is there a workaround, is it a bug in the version or do I have a missing initialisation file?
