LOST FILE, URGENT- more than 6 hours nonstop work
I was working on a piece and didn't save. I tried out codas through the "How to use Coda" page on the Musescore website, and when I used an example, I found that it didn't fit my requirements. When I closed it, it somehow closed my song I had been working on for more than 6 hours nonstop. How can I recover this? My computer didn't crash, I SOMEHOW closed it myself. Very sad and anxious. The file I had saved before only had one note placed on it, nowhere near the progress I had made.

If you closed the score without saving, regardless that MuseScore warned you about this, all hope is lost, as far as I know even the autosave files are getting removed in that case. But check for those, see How to recover a backup copy of a score
Sorry to hear about the lost work, but for future reference - you should be in habit of saving regularly, not just in MuseScore but any computer program. Unlike many mobile apps, computer programs generally require you to save manually, and normally one would just do this every few minutes.
