Measure numbers at section breaks
At a section break the measure numbers restart at 1 by default. Is there a way to change that so that they continue from the beginning of the score instead of from the beginning of the section?

Yes, see the Section Break's Inspector
But, also consider whether section breaks are the correct type for your purposes - normally that is one of the main points of such a break. If all you want to do is start a new line, use the system break instead. Or if you just want to suppress a courtesy signature, do that directly via the Inspector or turn them off completely via Format / Style / Page.
