Playback measure skip UI glitch

If I playback a score in MuseScore Nightly 2249 and hit ctrl-right to move to the next measure, the note that was being played when I had hit the ctrl-right button remains highlighted in blue, and, only if there is a repeat and the player cursor goes over it again does the highlight disappear. Is this normal?
