How do you get "Drum sticks against hitting each other" sound on MDL drum set?
I'm writing an arrangement for Concert For Aliens by Machine Gun Kelly, and in that song the beginning features sticks hitting each other in the beginning 4 times to the tempo. The MDL drum set doesn't have a dedicated noise and I don't know how to add that in. How would I do this?

As far as I can tell a standard GM soundfont has it at pitch 31, "Sticks"

I tried that already and it isn't making any noise. Is that for the standard drum set and not MDL one? or does it matter?

Standard. No idea whether it matters, but it does sound there.
I'd find it quite strange if MDL would be lacking something simple and fundamental as this?

I just put the sound on the standard drum set and it works perfectly fine. The MDL drum set will not make a noise. So it seems that it matters.

MDL uses its own mapping, far more extensive. Almost certainly it has the sound, but you'd have to search through the existing drusmet definitions to see which pitch it is - I don't know that there is published documentation.

Seems MDL has "Stick Shot" at 65, "Stick Click" at 76, "Sticks In" at 77

I tried that already nothing happened, I just been going through every single note hoping to find a noise.
The Musesounds Drumset needs another update to feature the Stick Click sounds

That would be a good addition indeed, in the meanwhile you can use the MuseSounds Drumline - Marching Snares for this as it contains the Stick Click sound.
