Artificial Harmonics & suspended measures
How can I write artificial harmonics and suspended measures like this... (the example is on the linked image)

The former is done via changing the noteheads (but won't sound), the latter via an ossia or cut away staff.
The harmonics can be added using the Noteheads palette (or equivalent settings in the Inspector). The measure is called on "ossia", Several methods, but best is probably to add another staff, add the notes, then in Staff/Part Properties, set it to small, cutaway, and hide when empty always.
