Corrupted Musescore file

• Apr 20, 2021 - 21:35

Hello,
My computer crashed and my Musescore file (that I had saved) got corrupted (I assume the PC crashed during an autosave). Is it possible to recover the notes? It just spits out an error whenever I try to do anything, including opening it as a .zip file. The size seems appropriate, considering an earlier backup reaches 31 kilobytes. Maybe there's a way to edit the file to make it at least openable?

The file is unreadable. A MuseScore compressed file (.MSCZ) is the same format as a .ZIP file. When a .ZIP file loses part of its data it is usually unrecoverable. There may be backups of earlier, saved versions, however.
