Loop button - bug or feature?

I have half a dozen tabs open in the MuseScore application, a different score in each tab. I set up a playback loop in one score and enabled loop playback. I was surprised to find playback loops in all the other scores. I eventually realized that clicking the Loop button for one score turns this function on for all the others. In most scores, but not all, the start and end point of the loop is the same as the beginning and ending of the piece.

I suspect this is a feature, not a bug, but I'm not sure.
