The current playback of bends leaves much to be desired. Open the attached MS file.

  • The pitch transitions are unrealistic.
  • There is a kind of "chirrup" at the end of each bend—more apparent on the high notes (probably related to #268881: Bends: Pitch falls for no apparent reason).
  • Another problem is that bend playback is not properly integrated with the playback of the notes. If you unmute the final note in each bend pair, the end note sounds separately from the bend itself.
