Guitar Slide

How can I add a guitar slide, like when you play a note and slide up and it goes up smoothly on guitar?
I tried adding a Doit, but it didn't change anything

See the bend symbol on the Articulations palette (switch to Advanced palette using the control at far right of the main toolbar, or click the More button in the palette, if you don't see the bend symbol already).
