KDE: Highlights on tour are dark/not very noticeable

On KDE, active modals darken the parent window, to draw attention to it. However, in the case of MuseScore, this means that the areas that the tour highlights become so subtle I initially barely even noticed them.

See attached screenshot. My KDE setup is using the default Kubuntu settings. I know this can be turned off in the desktop effects but this behavior is preferable for me in all other situations.
