Any way to make elements only visible in individual parts?

I'm writing a drumline exercise and want to have stickings shown in the individual parts I'm giving out to my students, but don't need them to be written in the full score for myself.

But this seems like a work-around rather than an feature.

My backup plan would be to hide all the elements before I export; it would just be nice to be able to work on it in that view and switch back and forth without needing to hide/unhide over and over.
