Small notes
There is a easy way to insert small notes, according to the variation of the second lyrics line, like the attached example file?

Yes, just enter them in a second voice (see Voices in the Handbook), then use the Chord section of the Inspector to mark them Small.
Right click a Voice 2 note, select more->Same voice. Via Inspector set to small
