For some reason, the crescendo/diminuendo hairpins and lines are not working. I've tried factory reset, enabling single note dynamics, velocity change and even messed around with the synthesizer CC. I even removed some extra soundfonts to see if they were causing the issue. But nothing seems to be working. I've used the method in the score below on other scores before, and they seem to work just fine. But for some reason it won't work with the new version.
For context I'm using the original Musescore soundfont, and it is an SND compatible sound.

You don't have an "expr" sound selected - those are required when using SND. Just switch to an "expr" sound - including that version of the sound you are using - and all is well. BTW, not sure if the extra ties were just there in an effort to get it to work, but they aren't needed, whole notes will work just as well.
