I am unable to edit the "bend" articulation. The instructions are either to do it in the Inspector or to right click and choose "properties." When I open the Inspector, I don't see the bend section that the online guide refers to. When I right-click on the bend articulation, both alternatives, including "properties," are grayed out and do not respond. What do you suggest?

Don't open an issue if you have a usage question. the issue tracker if for confirmed (!) bugs and valid feature requests.

There is no "properties" if you are right-clicking a bend. My guess is you have added some other type of element. As mentioned, really it's best to use the forum when you have questions on how to use MuseScore, and to attach the specific score you are having trouble with. Then people can understand and assist better.
