Music without measures - no space between bars!
I want to write old choral music. If I remove the bar lines, there are still spaces at where they had been, and this is just really bad for reading and doesn't look good at all. How do I remove those spaces?

How did you remove them? I suspect you just made them invisble. You could delete them using Ctrl+Del, which would merge the adjacent measure into one
Indeed, don't make them invisible, simply join the measures. Ctrl+Delete of barlines does this one by one, but easier normally to select all the measures you want joined (eg, everything you want displayed on a single system), then use Tools / Measures / Join Selected Measures. If you do this often, considering defining a shortcut for this command in Edit / Preferences / Shortcuts.
