copyright problem in footer of a conductor's score.
I have finished a score and want to add copyright details in the footer.
I have typed copyright details in the File/Score Properties section.
I have attached a copy of the first page of my score. This is what my copyright details looks like:
Copyright © 2001 by Winding Brook Way Music and Walli Woo Entertainment
This arrangement Copyright © 2007 by Winding Brook Way Music and Walli Woo Entertainment
All Rights Reserved Used by Permission

My problem is the copyright data is appearing on every 'odd page' of the score. The second file shows what I mean.
if I use the $C option, the information appears in one straight line which then extends to the next page in the score, due to the amount of information.
How do I get the information above to appear like that but only on the 1st page of the score.

Use Copy/paste from this topic here into File > Score properties > copyright to retain the line feeds, then use $C to have it on the 1st page only (and remove the $:copyright:) from the even pages)

Hi.Thank you fro your prompt reply.I dont think ive explained myself properly.I think what you have suggested is what Im already doing. The files ive attached show:
1. a copy of the footer settings from Format/Style/Header_Footer
2. a copy of the footer settings from Format/Style/Text Styles
3. a copy of the contents of the File/Score Properties/Copyright
I have tried again the info you've sent me, but its not changing the problem I have.
Any more ideas?

It's difficult to diagnose problems from pictures alone, but if you attach your actual score, we may be able to understand and assist better.

It is a score I've just completed (except for the copyright problem).

There are no line endings in your copyright text in the score properties field. This becomes very apparent if you copy and paste it into a plain text editor such as notepad.
This is the text that's currently in the copyright field:
This is the text that you should copy into that copyright field:
So that all line breaks for the copyright are pasted into the field as well.
