Press M on your PC keyboard to toggle multi-measure rests on/off

Normally, of course, you'd only see multiple measures of rest in parts from an ensemble. This happens automatically when you generate parts from your full score. The only time you'd normally need to do this manually if it for whatever reason you are entering a single part only without the rest of the score. In that case, as mentioned, "M" toggles them on and off.
